In this interactive presentation, trusted trade authority Tom Cook discusses the uncertainty and disruption in today’s global supply chain, outlining the solutions available for tariff mitigation and risk and spend management. The focus includes alternative sourcing, nearshoring, drawback, Foreign-Trade Zones, tariff engineering, tariff classification reviews, freight options, freight consolidation, Incoterms, and robust demand planning. ISM—Charlotte is a non-profit organization run by cross-industry supply chain volunteer and focused on advanced education, professional development, and networking for everyone. Our chapter has a monthly board of directors and Chapter meetings where we discuss various current topics relevant to providing support to our members and networking opportunities to everyone.
